My Sessions: I am a bit of a renaissance woman - I love photographing children (my most honest subjects), celebratory events and the marketing mind in me loves partnering with small businesses for commercial photography. My sessions are enjoyable, unique and result in beautiful, memorable imagery. When booking your session help me help you to personalize our time together - and ensure the results are one-of-a-kind!
It's a blessing to do what I love and share it with the world. Life is truly beautiful - let me showcase your beautiful life today!
My Process: Photo shoots should be FUN. They should not just be bearable, they should be enjoyable. My love for what I do is contagious. I will work my heart out from the moment we meet up in a beautiful outdoor WNY location, or in my studio in gorgeous historical Lewiston to make you comfortable, calm your nerves and get out those natural smiles. I know from experience that it can be particularly stressful for parents of young children at a photo shoot. Leave the hard work to me - from wardrobe tips, preparation tricks, I'm here for you every step of the way. We'll get the shot that you're looking for, and have some laughs along the way.
My Vision: I like to consider myself a small-batch artist, because I limit the amount of events and sessions I book every month. This allows me the time to treat each shoot individually, and focus on providing a quality product every time. I am the lead photographer that greets you at each and every session. I edit each photograph that you receive and ensure that it meets my artistic vision.
Specialty Natural Light Photography
Hi, I'm Chelsea Sears, Owner and Photographer for Chelsea Modern Images. I've been a WNY girl for nearly 20 years now, and I'm proud to call Niagara County my home! I'm a lover of dogs, yoga, live music and the great outdoors. My days are filled with happy messes made by the loves of my life - my three kiddos and my high-school sweetheart Hubby. They provide me with endless inspiration and always manage to keep me on my toes.
My love for photography started with a 35mm manual camera and a canister of black & white film. I knew right away that I had tapped into the passion of a lifetime. I received my Bachelors Degree in Fine Art Photography from Buffalo State College in 2001, and have happily photographed every day since.
